展覽 | 台灣 | 日帝藝術〈三十六號洞窟〉簡志剛個展

三十六,代表著創作者的身分、密碼,是時間與空間結合後的座標印記。洞窟,代表著窩匿、遁逃與休憩,是創作者將時間與空間結合後的具體再現。創作者以四種角色介入這次的計畫,包括:沉醉於過去的初心孩童、感受當下的社會觀察者、愚實力行的行為匠人以及打破時間邏輯的偽考古者。本次個展展出了創作者三個系列,包含類唐卡概念的創世神平面繪畫系列、創世神傳說雕塑系列以及敦北壁畫系列,以此三個系列,體現出創作者心中對藝術的圓滿想像。藉由將自身生命經驗與時空混雜咀嚼後再重新梳理,以嚴肅又荒誕、傳統也當代的方式,實踐了這次的創作個展-〈三十六號洞窟〉。



創世神傳說系列創作自述:

創作者以自身童年經驗為出發,藉由作品傳達出在本土文化與外來文化的夾雜下,形塑出的人格,包括對在地文化美感的深度認同與外來文化的崇拜心理。將佛教道教等信仰中的形式加以轉換,包括聯幅神明畫像、薰香陳舊的神像與古壁畫,再以熟知的卡漫角色為主題,描繪創作者對童年崇拜角色的敬意,藉由現在的真誠作品剖析創作者的已定過去與窺探未來可能如何幻化的密碼。

Thirty-six represents the artist’s identity and password, and is the coordinate of time and space. Representing shelter, escape and rest, the cave is the result of the artist combining time and space. Artists have four roles, including: innocent child, social observer, hard-working craftsman, and archaeologist. This solo exhibition displays three series of the artist's graphic paintings, sculptures and murals, which reflect the artist's perfect art. I used my own life experiences to reorganize time and space, and created this solo exhibition - "Cave 36" in a serious yet absurd, traditional yet contemporary way.


The author uses childhood memories to create artworks. The author stated that he was influenced by many different cultures, including local culture, multimedia culture and foreign culture. These works convey a deep understanding of the beauty of local culture and the worship psychology of foreign cultures. The author makes use of the characteristics of Taiwanese religion, including flat gods and three-dimensional statues, and uses popular cartoons as the theme. The author uses his work to express respect for childhood idols.
