We have interviewed its artistic director, Xie Suzhen, who is of Taiwanese origin, and who was the director of the Taipei Contemporary Art Museum as well as the executive director of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Judging on the first biennale held on September 2016, she has already turned a new page of the history of Chinese contemporary art.
